Rasa Ria ---a local resort-- works in conjunction with Sepilok orangutan rehabilitation center. The mother orangutans are quite often killed and the babies taken as pets. The rehabilitation center works with these babies to try to reintroduce them to the wild. Rasa Ria has them for the first 2 years and then they go back to Sepilok for final education before being released. The program has been very sucessful-- and is definitely a LOT of fun
