With Sabah Society went to Danau Girang Research Field Center on the Kinabatangan River. We got to experience the wonderful area and watch and hear what the scientists and students are doing for research. The last evening was spent with the crocodile researcher --we saw the eyeballs of 10 different crocodiles and he caught a small --only by his standards!--(18 month old) one by hand to do measurements, DNA sampling and ID. In a cage the largest one they have caught is 5+ meters+ 17 feet!!!
